Nightowl caribbean restaurant10/2/2023 Lauderdale where a huge Jamaican community resides. in Florida is being made in this funky, murals on the wall, little restaurant in Eustis, Florida. Moreįrom the moment you walk in and are greeted by Brittany behind the counter (who remembers EVERY customer by name!), it's clear from the kitchen smells that good food is close! Yum! What's crazy is that the best Jamaican food that I have ever had. We definitely will go here again and have told several people about this hidden beauty. The small establishment was easily run by very accommodating and friendly people. We heated them up and were NOT met with grease - instead we were met with a unique flavor and again, wished we'd gotten more. We were too full to eat the wings and brought them home for a midnight snack. It's reminiscent of a Hawaiian bread, but a lot nicer. Everything was definitely made there - nothing from the freezer!! The Coco bread was a 5x7 baked dream. We also got the sweet cornbread (wished we'd gotten more than one!), the coco bread (warmed and yummy!) and Coors Lite beer! The meats were tender and succulent - falling right off the bones. We got the fried hot wings (they're made fresh, so be prepared to wait 20 minutes for them) and jerk chicken & curry goat, mac-n-cheese, with the red beans & rice platter. We were excited by the simple menu choices and decide order the "2 meat choices" platter. Well, this is the hidden jerk gem of Eustis! We found out that a lot of people order and do take-out since we saw and spoke with a few of them (one. We love jerk and always search for those hidden gems wherever we go.
